Member rules

There is no jumping allowed – only flat work and ground work (e.g. lunging with an instructor).

Horses will be allocated to clients by the staff and will depend on which horses are free and how much work they are doing that day. We will try where possible to allocate you your favourite horse, but you must understand that this may not always be possible.

Members must have their own equipment – hats (to the current standard), boots, whips, gloves etc.

The yard will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. No riding will take place on those days. The yard will be open from Wednesday to Sunday. We hope to be able to offer flexibility of riding times.

Members pay monthly in advance by direct debit. Members will have a one month trial period, followed by an initial membership length of 3 months. 1 month’s notice is required of cancellation of membership.

We will offer you the option to carry over 6 weeks’ worth of rides in a year provided you give us more than 24 hours notice of cancellation.  If you can’t ride one week, you can have a credit to ride in another week.
Silver Members can have a credit for one missed ride in a week (6 total in a year). Gold Members can carry over either one or two credits in a week (12 total in a year). You can make up your missed rides in another week.
If you do not give us at least 24 hours notice of cancellation, you will still be required to pay for your activity and won't be able to take a credit for that lesson or ride.
