About Us

Stockbridge Riding Club is now owned by Katherine and Nathan Parker as of 1st January 2026.

Formerly a riding school owned by John and Caroline Wrayton, the business was first started in 1967. In July 2020, they converted to a members only club.

Katherine has worked at the riding school for over 10 years as an instructor and has always been very popular with the clients for her lessons.

We are diversifying the club in order to offer horse therapy sessions in order to support the SEND local community and mental wellbeing community.
 
We are fully insured and also licensed with the Test Valley Borough Council. Each year we pass strict assessments with both ABRS and TVBC.

Many of our instructors and hack escorts have been with us for several years, as have many of our clients. We are a small friendly business, where the enjoyment and development of our clients are of utmost importance to us. All our horses and ponies are carefully selected by us to give the best possible experience for riders of all levels.
